Suzuki Goes Large at The Southampton Boat Show

There will be even more Suzuki-powered boats on the water than in previous years as well as the very latest outboard technology on display in the form of the new DF350AMD with its integrated steering system, which allows for more streamlined rigging of these popular V6 outboards and includes an even more streamlined gearcase to further reduce drag.

Powered by Suzuki

Suzuki will be showcasing its range of ultimate four stroke outboards on its main stand E058 in Mayflower Park, as well as on the transoms of some leading boat brands on the pontoons and around the show, illustrating the breadth of the range and variety of applications available, including RIBs, sports boats, tenders, fishing boats, and commercial craft.

Numerous brands powered by Suzuki will be prominently showcased at the event, offering a captivating blend of on-water displays and engaging exhibitions.

Experience the world of Suzuki

Suzuki is not just about static displays of product. You can experience the world of Suzuki in a number of ways at the Southampton Boat Show.

As usual, there will be the opportunity for show visitors to get out on the water on a 325hp RIB courtesy of the professionally skippered Suzuki RIB Experience. These RIB rides are free and a fun way for people to have a blast on the water. Show goers simply need to visit the main Suzuki stand to sign up to one of the time slots offered each day.

Suzuki also powers the Wetwheels charity at the show. Wetwheels provides the opportunity for all disabled people, including those with profound and complex disabilities, to access the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way on board a purpose-built, fully-accessible powerboat which can be found on berth M167 within the ‘try a boat’ section of the show marina.

If you simply want to have a hot drink and relax while taking in the boats on display, then Suzuki has that covered too! The ‘Jimny Beans’ drinks station on the Suzuki stand will be serving barista-style coffees and teas in return for donations to Wetwheels throughout the show.

Fish like a champion with the Shimano fishing simulator

Fancy trying your hand at boat angling? Then the Suzuki stand is the place to be, as there will be a fishing boat on display, which will serve as the home for the Shimano fishing simulator. This simulator will allow guests to immerse themselves in the virtual fishing experience and receive top tips from knowledgeable members of the Suzuki Fishing Team. To add to the excitement, there will be a daily competition with prizes for the best score, where participants can showcase their virtual fishing skills and vie for the title of the day’s champion.

Suzuki offers the complete package

In addition to its outboard motors, Suzuki will also have its latest ergonomically-designed controls and ancillary items on display as well as its world-leading micro-plastics collection device. It is not just physical products that Suzuki is renowned for either. There is the new Suzuki Diagnostic System Mobile (SDS Mobile) App, which lets you send your Suzuki Authorised Dealer instantly and easily all the technical information they need to service and maintain your outboard.

See you there…

Suzuki is pleased to invite all boat lovers and show visitors onto the stand (E058) to enjoy refreshments, discuss their requirements with Suzuki experts and register their details for the latest news and updates.

Mark Beeley, Head of ATV & Marine for Suzuki GB, said, “We are gearing up for another great Southampton Boat Show and we are proud to be supporting our network of partner Dealers and Boat Builders who are launching and displaying a wide range of market-leading Suzuki-powered packages at the show. As ever, we are focused on giving customers the ultimate experience on the water and to this end we’re excited to be coming to the show with our strongest line-up of products and activities ever.”
