PlainSailing.com’s Sailing Holiday Photo Competition 2024

There’s a massive €1,250 prize up for grabs for the best sailing holiday photo of the year – courtesy of PlainSailing.com!

Sailing holidays are all about stunning views, lots of smiles and having fun – and if you capture that on camera, then you could win €1,250 off your next sailing adventure! Yacht and catamaran charter experts PlainSailing.com have just launched their annual ‘Best sailing holiday photo of the season’ competition, and you don’t have to sail with them for a chance to win the prize.

It’s easy to enter – just tag @PlainSailing to your photos when sharing them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and be sure to ‘follow’ the social media accounts you tag it to. You don’t need to be a professional photographer, and anything taken on a smartphone should be plenty good enough.

The winning photo will be chosen by public vote in November, and should ideally feature a minimum of two people (ideally smiling) plus a yacht or catamaran (either on-board or in the background) – with bonus marks if the boat is in some idyllic location, and with some sunshine!

The prize is a €1,250 voucher towards a 2025 weeklong yacht or catamaran charter with PlainSailing.com, either in the Med or the Caribbean. To find out more about who won the 2023 competition, head to https://plainsailing.com/blog/sailing-holiday-photo-of-the-year-2023-result

Tommy Tognarelli, co-founder of PlainSailing.com, said After the unprecedented success of our Sailing holiday photo competition in 2023, there was no way we couldn’t run it again this season.

“Last year, we had hundreds of entries, and the quality of the final 12 photographs which made the shortlist was just insane! We’re after more of the same, and can’t wait to see this years’ entries come flooding in!

“Anyone could win it, so keep your smartphone on you, and be ready to snap the perfect shot. In particular in 2024, I’d love to see some stunning wildlife photos – like a sea turtle or a dolphin galloping along the waves.”
