boatcare launches new technical centre at Conwy Marina

boatcare, a national boat maintenance company, founded by boatfolk has announced the launch of a new bespoke technical centre at Conwy Marina. The new technical centre, which represents a £600,000 investment, will officially open on 8 March.

The spacious newly built facility can accommodate vessels of up to 14m, allowing boatcare to offer weatherproof services at Conwy for the first time. The cutting-edge space, which has been furnished with state-of-the-art equipment for boat servicing and maintenance, will improve the services available to both boatcare’s existing customers and the wider local boating community.

Jon Roberts, Conwy Marina Manager, said: “We are delighted with the new technical centre, which has been introduced after listening to the local boating community to anticipate their maintenance needs, and will enable us to offer a larger scope of work with the boats being inside and sheltered. Bringing this facility to Conwy is testament to our continued investment in the local area, and takes us a step closer to offering the all-inclusive service our boating customers require.”

The introduction of the new facility and services, with an anticipated capacity for growth, represents a vast improvement in the local service provision for boat owners in Conwy and neighbouring areas.

boatcare’s investment into the service division signifies a commitment to enhancing expertise, efficiency and customer satisfaction, propelling the boating business towards greater innovation and excellence on the water.

As part of the boatfolk family, boatcare provides a one-stop solution for full-service boat repairs and maintenance, with six service centres across the UK at Deacons, Haslar, Portland, Conwy, Portishead and Penarth Marinas.

boatcare is the approved supplier of brands including Yanmar, Yamaha, Mercury, Harken, and Jefa Rudder systems, amongst others. For further details please visit For further information about boatfolk, visit
