The 2026 South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show will shine a spotlight on sustainable boating innovation when it returns to Ocean Village Marina in Southampton from 8–10 May.
The show continues to build its reputation as the UK’s leading showcase for greener, more efficient boating solutions – bringing together boaters, families and industry experts to explore the future of life on the water.
Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions
A highlight of this year’s Green Tech focus will be Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions’ latest innovation, alongside a new partnership introducing one of the most energy-efficient watermaker systems currently available to the marine market. The announcement builds on the company’s strong momentum following its Green Innovator Award win at last year’s show.
Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions, a Dorset-based family business, is widely recognised for delivering reliable, fully integrated onboard systems – from electric propulsion and hybrid power to solar integration, fuel cells and advanced energy storage. Its continued investment in cleaner, quieter and more efficient technologies points to a growing shift across the marine sector towards more sustainable boating.
Get hands-on with the latest in green tech
The South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show has become a key platform for these advancements, offering visitors the chance to see, compare and understand the latest eco-conscious innovations in a relaxed and accessible environment. Alongside the wide range of boats on the water, the show will feature dedicated green technology exhibitors, expert-led talks and live discussions designed to make sustainable boating more approachable for everyday users.
A central part of this is MDL’s Green Innovator Award, which returns for 2026. The award celebrates businesses pushing boundaries in marine sustainability, with Fischer Panda UK among the previous winners recognised for its forward-thinking approach to onboard energy solutions. In addition to its product launch, Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions will be contributing to this year’s on-stage programme. The session will explore the complete onboard power system, highlighting how integrated solutions – from power generation and energy management to air-conditioning and watermakers – can enhance comfort, efficiency and time on the water, alongside the introduction of its latest partnership.
“Following last year’s Green Innovator Award win, we’re excited to return to the South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show and continue building on that momentum,” says Chris Fower, Managing Director at Fischer Panda UK | Power Solutions. “Our team is passionate about exploring emerging technologies and helping customers better balance onboard energy consumption while future-proofing their systems. The show provides the ideal platform to introduce a new brand partnership that complements our range and supports a more sustainable approach to onboard power management.”
With sustainability becoming an increasingly important consideration for boat owners, the show continues to evolve to reflect changing priorities – bringing together innovation, education and real-world solutions in one place.
“Southampton has always been at the heart of UK boating,” adds Lauren Bright, Marina Manager at Ocean Village. “There’s a real appetite for greener, more efficient ways to enjoy time on the water, and this event gives people the chance to see what that looks like in practice, alongside a fantastic mix of boats and marine innovation.”
