Southampton International Boat Show announces the return of its amazing On the Water Stage

The Southampton International Boat Show has announce an exhilarating addition to its On the Water Stage this year. Making its debut is the spectacular sport of Wing foiling, featuring the awe-inspiring talent of National Champion Hugo Dobrijevic, who will be showcasing his breath-taking aerial performances.

The Southampton International Boat Show will once again wow visitors with an array of performances and stunt demos guaranteed to captivate audiences of all ages. From the adrenaline-pumping action of Flyboarding with James Prestwood to the daring tricks of World Champion Jet Skier Jack Moule, this year’s line-up promises to be more exhilarating than ever.

Breath-taking stunts and heart-stopping action are guaranteed to amaze the whole family! New to the line-up, Wingfoiling is a sport taking the water world by storm. With Hugo Dobrijevic at the helm, spectators will witness the cutting-edge of hydrofoil technology combined with the finesse of windsurfing, surfing, and kitesurfing.

Additionally, the show will feature James Prestwood’s Flyboard acrobatics. Standing on a board with his feet strapped into boots, connected to a 23-metre hose (75ft) and the other end of the hose connected to a 300-horsepower jet ski with a dual impeller, the power from the jet ski pushes the board up to heights off 18 metres (60ft) in the air. Operating the jet ski from a handheld remote-control James will amaze the crowds with of a skilful display of back flips, spins, twists, superman’s, dolphin dives and slaloms.

Completing the lineup is Jack Moule, 4 x National Freestyle jet-ski Champion, 5 x British Freestyle Champion and World Professional Freestyle Stuntman.  Jack will wow the crowds with his portfolio of skill tricks including big air backflips, barrel rolls and flares, underwater subs and on the water, spray fountains, as well as his signature trick, a no handed barrel roll.

These acts are set to push the limits of aquatic athleticism, offering spectators a unique and unforgettable experience.

Spectators can enjoy all the action from the comfort of the Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant or for an enhanced experience; visitors can upgrade their visit with Quayside Club tickets, offering premium views and exclusive amenities.

The show is open from 10am – 6pm daily except on the final Sunday when the show will close at 5pm.  The Shipyard will remain open until 9pm on both Saturday 14 and Saturday 21 September.
