New models from Beneteau, Dufour and Jeanneau among extensive sail and catamaran line-up at Swanwick Marina this September.
Sailing yacht buyers will have the opportunity to step aboard six UK debuts and compare an extensive selection of monohulls and sailing catamarans when the inaugural Swanwick Yachting Showcase takes place from 19–27 September at Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble, just a few miles from Southampton.
The Beneteau Oceanis 47, Oceanis 52 and First 30, Dufour 54, and Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415 and 455 will all make their UK debuts at the nine-day Showcase, forming part of a sailing line-up that includes multiple models from Dufour, Bavaria, Jeanneau and Beneteau, alongside sailing catamarans from Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, Excess and Bali.
With the yachts together in one marina and available to view through dedicated appointments, prospective owners can move between different models, sizes and configurations, spend time onboard and make meaningful comparisons as they consider their next yacht.
Six UK debuts to explore
The six UK debuts sit within a substantial sailing line-up at Swanwick.
Four Dufour sailing yachts – the Dufour 37, 41, 44 and 54 – will be on display, with the Dufour 54 making its UK debut.
Three Beneteau sailing yachts – the First 30, Oceanis 47 and Oceanis 52 – will each make their UK debut, giving buyers the opportunity to explore three of the latest additions to the Beneteau sailing range during the same visit.
Jeanneau will be represented by three Sun Odyssey models – the 350, 415 and 455, with the latter two making their UK debuts.
Four Bavaria sailing yachts – the Cruiser 37, C38, C46 and C50 – complete the monohull line-up, while buyers considering a sailing catamaran can explore the Lagoon 51, Fountaine Pajot FP41 and Excess 11, together with a Bali sailing catamaran.
The breadth of the line-up gives buyers the opportunity to compare several models within individual ranges as well as explore different brands, sizes and configurations, all in one location at Swanwick Marina on the River Hamble – one of the South Coast’s best-known yachting destinations.
Chris Warwick, Managing Director of Universal Yachting, the UK distributor for Dufour Yachts, said: “With thousands of sailing enthusiasts heading to Southampton this September, serious buyers have a real opportunity to make the most of their time here on the South Coast.
“With eight sailing brands on display, buyers can compare a wide range of options. For Dufour, that means moving from the 37 through the 41 and 44 to the 54, spending proper time onboard and seeing how the space, layout and possibilities change as you move through the range.
“This is about much more than simply looking at boats. Dedicated appointments give us time to talk properly about how someone wants to sail, what they need from their next yacht and the options available to them. For the right buyer, those conversations can move very quickly from comparison to the practicalities of ownership.”
New Sun Odyssey models make their UK debut
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 415 and 455 will be among the newest yachts to see at Swanwick, with both making their UK debuts with Sea Ventures.
The Sun Odyssey 415 is arriving from France ahead of the Showcase and will be presented alongside the Sun Odyssey 350 and larger 455, giving prospective owners the opportunity to explore three models from the range during the same visit.
Time onboard – and on the water
The Swanwick Yachting Showcase has been created around dedicated appointments, giving prospective buyers time onboard the yachts they are actively considering and direct access to experienced sales teams and brand specialists.
For those considering a sailing catamaran, that opportunity can also extend onto the water.
Carl Livett of MiCats, the UK dealer for Fountaine Pajot, said: “This type of event gives us the time and space to have meaningful conversations with genuine prospective boat buyers in a relaxed, focused environment. It allows us to better understand each client’s needs, answer their questions, and provide a more personal experience than is often possible at a busy boat show.”
MiCats will also be offering sea trials following the Showcase aboard the Fountaine Pajot FP41 and FP44 for clients ready to take the next step in their purchasing journey, providing the opportunity to experience the catamarans on the water before making a final decision.
More than 50 yachts at Swanwick
The sailing fleet forms part of a wider line-up of more than 50 new and brokerage yachts across sail and power expected at Swanwick Marina during the nine-day Showcase.
Power buyers will also find models from brands including Bavaria, Beneteau, Regal, Greenline, Prestige, Bluegame and Sanlorenzo, ensuring the wider Showcase offers significant choice across both sail and power.
The inaugural Swanwick Yachting Showcase is presented by Ancasta International Boat Sales, Clipper Marine, MiCats, Sea Ventures and Universal Yachting, all based at Swanwick Marina.
Located on the River Hamble, just a few miles from Southampton, the marina brings the five established yacht sales businesses together in one location, with free parking and The Boathouse offering a waterside setting for coffee or lunch between appointments.
Taking place from 19–27 September, the Showcase is free to attend and strictly by appointment. Visitors choose the yachts and brands they want to see and book directly with participating exhibitors, creating their own schedule across the nine days.
