New for summer 2024, Southampton based First Class Sailing is launching two women-only RYA courses: a Competent Crew course and, for those more established seafarers, a Day Skipper course.
Taking place 1-5 July (with more planned for later in the year), an experienced female instructor will lead the residential on-the-water courses. Very hands-on and practical, the competent crew course covers all the essentials required including the safety, equipment familiarisation, sailing skills and basic navigation.
Adding to the adventure, overnight accommodation is on board too, with everyone cooking and eating together to ensure crew comradery. Plus, to keep it exciting, each night the vessel is moored in a different spot with sailing under the stars all part of the experience too.
The trip can be booked as a single berth (for three people and a skipper) for £947pp or up to five friends can hire the whole boat for £3100.
