Luxury Property Projects has announced its sponsorship of the Solent Circuit for the second consecutive year, along with additional financial support for the refurbishment of the ground-floor bar at Lymington Town Sailing Club (LTSC).
The Solent Circuit yacht racing series, established by LTSC in the early 1970s, will take place on six Sundays from October 26 – November 30. For over 50 years, the West Solent’s principal autumn yacht racing series has consistently attracted fleets of more than 40 yachts, including IRC, YTC, sports boats and Nordic Folkboat classes.
Heather Chipperfield, Commodore of LTSC, expressed her gratitude for the support from Luxury Property Projects, saying, “We are very thankful for their assistance. For the 2025 Solent Circuit, this support will enable the Club to charter a robust committee boat, which is essential for facilitating racing in autumn conditions.”
She continued, “The Lower Deck Bar at LTSC has been a great asset, but unfortunately has looked rather sad and shabby in recent years. Thanks to Luxury Property Project’s sponsorship, we can now refurbish this space into a desirable multi-purpose area. It will be ideal for watching sports, relaxing after dog walks, serving as a children’s play area, a hangout zone for young people and a ‘wet bar’ after sailing. Plans are underway and we intend to start work in the autumn, with the excellent assistance of the Monday Club.”
Simon Evans, the owner of Luxury Property Projects, said, “We’re thrilled to support our beloved local sailing club in organising this highly anticipated, action-packed annual yacht series. At the same time, we’re delighted to help rejuvenate the Club’s facilities, which will benefit members and visitors of all ages in our local community.”
Entry for the 2025 Solent Circuit will open in July. For more information about the racing series, visit www.ltsc.co.uk/solent-circuit or email office@ltsc.co.uk.
