LKQ Aquafax will showcase a fully solar-powered Navico Group demo van at this year’s South Coast & Green Tech Boat Show, demonstrating how off-grid power is becoming a practical solution for today’s marine systems.
The system was designed and installed by the LKQ Aquafax Hamble team, led by Technical Key Account Manager – Joseph Cleave. It enables the van to run entirely on solar energy, supporting a full suite of onboard marine electronics. The project has been developed to demonstrate how renewable energy can be applied in real-world marine environments—not just as a concept, but as a fully working solution.
As the UK’s leading distributor for Navico Group, LKQ Aquafax is supporting the brand’s presence at the show. While the event is retail-focused, LKQ Aquafax brings a strong technical perspective, backed by a team experienced in system design, product training, and ongoing support for trade customers.
Visitors to Stand 6 will be able to step aboard the demo van and see products from B&G, Lowrance and Mastervolt in action, all powered by the onboard solar setup—demonstrating how Navico Group brings its portfolio of brands together to deliver a complete, integrated onboard solution.
The project supports the sustainability focus of the show and reflects the wider direction of LKQ Corporation. It also underlines the role LKQ Aquafax plays in helping bring new technology to market, working closely with manufacturers and customers to turn ideas into practical solutions.
