2025 Season SailGP Fan Awards are open – cast your votes now

The Rolex SailGP Championship’s 2025 Season will come to its dramatic finish in just one month’s time – and now, fans worldwide can join the action early by casting their votes for the 2025 Season SailGP Fan Awards – open now until 14 November. 

Starting last November in Dubai, the Rolex SailGP Championship 2025 Season has delivered – from new nations and top speeds, to iconic destinations, emotional milestones and plenty of thrills and spills – all brought to you by the top athletes in the sport.

Back again, this season’s SailGP Fan Awards include five categories, with winners announced in the two weeks leading up to the 2025 Season Grand Final in Abu Dhabi. Winners will claim not only bragging rights – they’ll take home a bespoke SailGP Fan Awards trophy, forged by SailGP Technologies from recycled parts of real F50 catamarans. Voting closes on Friday, 14 November at 6PM EST and can be cast here.

2025 SEASON SAILGP FAN AWARD CATEGORIES:

  • SailGP’s Most Improved – Celebrating the team that has made the biggest leap forward in 2025, showing growth, resilience and consistency across the season.
  • SailGP Fan Moment – Honoring the most unforgettable moment of the season – from first-time victories to incredible comebacks – as voted by SailGP fans around the world.
  • SailGP Powerhouse Award – Recognising an athlete that has been a non-stop force across the 2025 Season. 
  • SailGP’s Most Valuable Athlete – Awarded to the standout MVP league-wide, the athlete whose performance, leadership and impact have defined the year.
  • 2025 F50 Dream Team – The ultimate all-star lineup, fans select the athletes they’d want onboard their dream F50 crew for the season.

Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix 2025 Season Grand Final presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council will be held across two days of racing (29-30 November, 2025). The event is the culmination of a 12-event season where after one last series of fleet races between all 12 national teams, only three will race for the coveted Rolex SailGP Championship trophy, and the chance to claim the sport’s top prize of US $2 million.

Dylan Fletcher’s Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team currently sit first on the leaderboard, followed by Peter Burling’s Black Foils in second overall, and three-time SailGP Champions the BONDS Flying Roos in third. Season 4 Champions Spain are outside the podium in fourth.
