Boat repairs and maintenance company BoatCare has relaunched with a new hub operating structure and service model.
BoatCare became part of the Premier Marinas portfolio following its acquisition of Boatfolk in 2025. The move sees the company shift into a flexible and scalable service model, with expanded capability at strategic hubs located at Deacons and Portland Marinas.
The change enables BoatCare to concentrate on its in-house expertise where the demand is at its highest, while maintaining coverage across the wider marina network through the provision of off-site services and established relationships with trusted partners. These strategic partnerships include Yanmar and MerCruiser via Barrus, and Coppercoat, among others.
Nick Gill, National BoatCare Manager says, “Bringing BoatCare into the ownership of Premier Marinas has given us the opportunity to review how its services are delivered and where we can add the most value for our customers. We know the South Coast is a hotspot for boaters, which is why it is a natural fit for us to focus our efforts where the boating community has the greatest need for support.
“The new model allows us to invest in our dedicated in-house capabilities at Deacons Marina on the River Hamble and Portland Marina on the Dorset coast, whilst continuing to support customers across the wider network and beyond. This is a more flexible approach that reflects the different needs of our customers.
“As our boating community continues to grow across the region, our focus remains on improving accessibility to high-quality services to support customers both on and off the water, while continuing to enhance the overall customer experience.”
BoatCare services are available to all boat owners across the south coast, providing access to a trusted network of maintenance and support solutions.
