Barrus reveals special 10% Mercury engine offer ahead of Southampton International Boat Show

Mercury, YANMAR, expert advice, premium marine equipment and exclusive show offers take centre stage at Barrus Marine’s Stand P122 & P123.

Barrus is set to bring a comprehensive showcase of marine propulsion, equipment and expertise to the Southampton International Boat Show, taking place from 18–27 September at Mayflower Park.

Visitors to Stand P122 & P123 will be able to get up close with the latest Mercury Marine and YANMAR Marine engines, explore Barrus’ extensive marine equipment portfolio and speak directly with the company’s specialist team about choosing the right propulsion and equipment for their vessel.

The show will also see Barrus unveil an exclusive 10% discount on selected Mercury engines, giving visitors the opportunity to take advantage of a special show-only offer when considering their next repower or new engine purchase. The headline offer gives customers 10% off selected Mercury engines during the Southampton International Boat Show.

With Mercury’s extensive outboard range covering everything from portable and mid-range FourStroke engines through to high-performance Verado models and SeaPro commercial outboards, Barrus’ team will be on hand to help customers understand the options and identify the engine best suited to their boat and requirements.

The offer is available on selected engines while stocks last, with full terms and availability available from the Barrus team on the stand.

More than just engines

While propulsion will be a major focus, Barrus’ Southampton stand has been designed to showcase the breadth of its marine expertise and product portfolio.

Visitors can:

  • Get up close with Mercury and YANMAR engines, including the opportunity to discuss their individual requirements with Barrus specialists.
  • Explore Barrus’ Marine Equipment portfolio, featuring premium brands including Navico, Barton Marine, Guidi and August Race.
  • Discover the latest parts and accessories for maintaining, upgrading and enhancing their boats.
  • Browse and purchase official Mercury Marine apparel.
  • Take advantage of special show-only discounts across selected premium marine equipment brands.
  • Enjoy refreshments and a relaxed environment where visitors can take their time discussing their requirements with the Barrus team.

Barrus will also showcase its approach to providing complete propulsion solutions, including its Mercury rigging offering, helping customers understand not just which engine is right for their boat, but what is required to get the complete installation working effectively.

“Southampton is a fantastic opportunity for us to get closer to our customers and really demonstrate the breadth of what Barrus Marine can offer,” said Lee Allen, Commercial Manager, Barrus Marine Division.

“We want visitors to be able to get up close with the engines, ask questions, compare their options and speak to people with genuine marine experience. The 10% Mercury offer gives customers an additional reason to have that conversation if they are considering a new engine or repower, but it’s not just about propulsion. We have a huge amount to showcase across our Marine Equipment portfolio, parts and accessories, apparel and our partner brands. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to the stand and helping them find the right solution for their boat.”

A destination for marine expertise

The Barrus stand will bring together its specialist teams across Mercury, YANMAR and Marine Equipment, giving leisure boaters, boat builders, commercial operators, dealers and marine businesses the opportunity to discuss their individual requirements.

For customers considering a repower, Barrus’ team can provide guidance on engine selection and application, while those looking to upgrade or maintain their vessels can explore the wider equipment and accessories portfolio.

Barrus is the UK and Ireland distributor for Mercury Marine and has represented the brand for decades. The company also distributes YANMAR Marine and a broad portfolio of marine equipment brands, supporting customers through its specialist teams and dealer network. Barrus was founded in 1917 and operates across the marine, garden, industrial and vehicle sectors.
