Yamaha Motor UK returns to Southampton International Boat Show (19-28 September) with an extensive selection of boats, along with the first UK public demonstration of the Helm Master EX Wireless Controller Station onboard a Jeanneau 9 Cap Camarat.
The new Wireless Controller Station allows the captain to manoeuvre the boat from anywhere onboard, not just whilst at the helm, giving flexibility whilst still monitoring depth, heading and speed via a simple handheld display. Other functions include man overboard alerts activated via tags worn by the captain and each crew member (of which there are 8), the ability to set Autopilot and the useful Staypoint®, Fishpoint® and Driftpoint® at the touch of a button in your hand.
Visitors can view exclusive demonstrations of the new controller and the Helm Master EX system aboard a Jeanneau’s 9 Cap Camarat model with twin F250 engines on berth number M037 at any time during the show.
Alongside this boat, Yamaha Isle of Wight dealer KMO Marine will showcase a 7.9m series Cheetah Marine Catamaran with twin F150 Yamaha engines and which also houses a Helm Master EX system.

- Yamarin 60 DC with the exhilarating V MAX SHO 115hp engine
- Yamarin 63 DC rigged with a F150 engine
- Yamarin 67 DC with a F250 engine in shimmering peal white
Additionally, a stunning Sterk 31 WB RIB with twin F350 engines in pearl white and an Arksun 8 RIB with twin F250 engines will be displayed.
The final official Yamaha berth will showcase a recent 7.5m/F200hp RIB collaborationbetween insurance provider Pantaenius, boat builder Island RIBS and Yamaha through a creation that brings Yamaha’s ‘Joy on the Water’ to customers. What’s more, visitors can meet the project’s collaborators on Friday 19th September at an open event between 2-4pm (berth M031).
A range of exciting WaveRunners will be on display with Yamaha dealer Saltwater Solutions on stand number P020. There will also be an opportunity to meet-and-greet watersports personalities Joe Hill, of Classic Jetskis, and Alex Holmes of JSRA Racing.
Sustainable boating solutions from Yamaha owned Torqeedo will be on display courtesy of Yamaha dealer BHG Marine on stand number P036, alongside YAM inflatables. And boat partner Terhi, will be represented by Silverboats at the show on stand number P230.
New for 2025, Yamaha will take to the Cockpit stage, located in the Power hub area of the show, where its experts will host daily talks on its Helm Master EX Wireless Controller Station innovation and Torqeedo’s role in creating a greener marine environment.
