The trend for private luxury travel experiences looks set to continue for 2026, with Sail Croatia reporting strong demand for its Private Yacht Tours.
In recent years, the luxury sector has been reporting increasing interest for ultra personalised experiences that cater for their groups’ specific demands, whether that be bespoke itineraries, private tours, tailored activities and dedicated guides. The company, who operate 11 yachts and 11 catamarans of various sizes in its Private Yacht Tour fleet, have stated that 2026 looks set to be stronger than ever, with a 58% growth in Private Yacht Tour bookings for 2026, versus bookings made this time last year for 2025 sailings.
The seven-night trips operating from Split are ideal for families and groups of friends looking for a private and hassle-free way to explore the Croatian coastline. Accommodating between 4 and 12 guests, as well as a professional Skipper and in some cases a hostess, each high spec vessel offers all the mod cons, with some boats even offering outdoor BBQs and in-built drinks cabinets.
Helle Seuren, Founder and Director of Sail Croatia, said, “A Private Yacht Tour offers the ultimate way to explore Croatia, accompanied by family and friends. This private experience allows you to tailor the route and locations visited to suit your group’s interests, ensuring a very personalised experience. Whether you are looking for private coves to swim in, cultural experiences, or lively evenings ashore, each Skipper will use their local knowledge to build a suitable itinerary based on your preferences.”
Prices start from €3,659 (total) to hire the four berth Manilo, a Sun Odyssey 349, departing from Split on 2 May 2026. Price includes accommodation and services of a professional Skipper, airport transfers, fuel and local taxes. Mooring fees, food and flights are not included.
