The Moorings Welcomes the Moorings 5200

The Moorings is introducing the Moorings 5200. Making its first appearance at the Cannes Yachting Festival before launching at Southampton International Boat Show and Annapolis Sailboat Show, the 5200 brings more space, more comfort and more ways to enjoy life on the water.

Designed by Robertson & Caine with Simonis Voogd and shaped by decades of charter experience, the Moorings 5200 is available as a 5-cabin bareboat or a 6-cabin crewed yacht. Both layouts were created with one goal: to make time on board easy, enjoyable, and unforgettable – whether you’re sailing with family, friends, or letting a professional crew take the helm.

The 5200 centers around a indoor-outdoor living space of 438 sq ft. Wide sliding doors open the saloon to the aft cockpit, making one large, flexible area for meals, conversation, or simply relaxing together. Forward, a private cockpit offers a quiet retreat, while the coachroof lounge gives everyone a perfect spot to catch the view under way. Below deck, the 5-cabin version features four double cabins plus a unique aft-access bunk cabin, ideal for teenagers or crew. The 6-cabin crewed layout includes five private en-suite cabins for up to 11 guests, plus a 6th cabin for the 2 crew. Every cabin is bright, practical, and designed with comfort in mind, from generous windows to thoughtful storage.

The Moorings 5200 sails well too. A taller rig and overlapping genoa deliver stronger performance in every wind condition. Compared to the Moorings 5000, the 5200 achieves a 17 per cent boost in up-wind performance while keeping handling simple at the protected helm station.

Guests choosing the Crewed 5200 can enjoy the ultimate in care-free chartering. A professional captain and chef take care of the sailing and cooking, so you can focus on the moments that matter, whether that’s a morning swim, a long lunch on deck, or a quiet evening at anchor.

The Moorings 5200 is now available for charter bookings.
