Universal Yachting, the UK Distributor for Dufour Yachts, has announced the relocation of its offices from Mercury Yacht Harbour on the River Hamble to new, expanded premises at Swanwick Marina, part of Premier Marinas. The move will take effect from 1st May 2026.
This relocation marks a significant milestone for the Hamble based business, which has operated on the River Hamble for over 17 years, building a strong reputation for supporting owners through every stage of yacht ownership, from initial purchase through to ongoing service and resale.
Driven by sustained demand for new Dufour models alongside continued growth in its brokerage division, the company has outgrown its existing premises.
“Our time at Mercury Yacht Harbour has been an important part of our journey,” said Chris Warwick, Owner of Universal Yachting. “However, the business has evolved significantly in recent years and Swanwick Marina provides the space, facilities and environment we need to support the next phase of our growth and better serve our clients.”
Located at the head of the River Hamble, Swanwick Marina offers extensive on site facilities and excellent access to the Solent. The new premises will enable Universal Yachting to further enhance the client experience, with improved meeting space and a dedicated in water display area directly outside the office for convenient yacht viewings.
The move will also support the continued expansion of both new yacht sales and brokerage activity, reinforcing Universal Yachting’s position as a leading name in the UK sailing market. Universal Yachting will continue to operate as the UK distributor for Dufour Yachts from its new base, offering expert guidance across the full range alongside comprehensive ownership support.
