New Look at The Deck

The Deck at Penarth Marina reveals unique accommodation and fresh new look.

The Deck at Penarth Marina unveils its latest renovations, including 10 new floating bedrooms and a refurbished restaurant.

Travellers seeking a serene stay like no other can book a floating bedroom berthed at Penarth Marina, through The Deck website from December 2022. Options include single, double and twin bedrooms complete with full ensuite facilities.

Philip Lay, Director at boatfolk, comments, “We are thrilled to welcome the new luxurious floating bedrooms to the marina. The accommodation managed by The Deck will provide a unique and luxurious stay for guests looking to relax and unwind, with the benefit of The Deck’s fantastic bar and restaurant just a stone’s throw away. We expect the rooms will get booked up quickly!”

The Deck restaurant has been closed since September for its major refurbishment, including an extension which significantly enlarges the internal dining area, replacing the plastic marquee. The refurbishment also includes a complete remodelling of the restaurant and outside balcony area to enhance the whole experience.

The Deck offers freshly prepared food each day with a menu for every occasion including breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday lunch and afternoon tea. Featuring foods to share and classic plates, from fillet steak to seafood dishes, including Moules marinière, seared seabass, and fish and chips, as well as vegan and vegetarian options.

The Deck restaurant will be re-opening on 10 November, in time for its Beaujolais celebrations with the new extension.
