New Sailing Season

PlainSailing.com officially launched their 2022 season this week – with prices for bareboat or skippered yacht and catamaran charters now available for sailing holidays in Croatia, Greece, the Med and the Caribbean.

Giving more choice, the hand-picked charter partners that they work with around the globe have added just under 200 brand-new yachts and catamarans to their fleets.

To launch the 2022 season in style, the charter experts have a special offer. Book and pay the deposit on a week-long charter on a 2022 model boat before the end of November and they will deduct a further 2 per cent off the price.

Tommy Tognarelli, co-founder of PlainSailing.com, said “It is always exciting to gear up and launch the prices and boats for a new sailing season, and after all the drama we have seen over the last couple of years of the pandemic, it is reassuring and energising to get back to a bit of normality.

“We are also expecting the season to go ahead as planned – there will doubtless be some additional hoops and checks to be able to travel internationally in 2022, but hopefully they will not be too onerous, will be easy to understand, and will not put people off travelling, because sailing just is not the same without the sunshine or idyllic islands.

“We’re also encouraged that fairly standard travel insurance can now cover you for contracting Covid in the days before your holiday (or on holiday), so it is also far less risky to get a holiday booked in now than it has been in the past”.
