HONDA MARINE AND HIGHFIELD BOATS JOIN FORCES TO SHOWCASE UK DEBUT OF ADV9 ADVENTURE CROSSOVER AT SOUTHAMPTON BOAT SHOW

Honda Marine UK and Highfield Boats will unite again with a joint stand at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show.

One of the highlights for the 2026 event will be the official UK debut of the Highfield ADV9, powered by twin Honda BF250 outboards.

Redefining the cabin crossover class, the 9.2-metre ADV9 has been purpose-built for adventure, versatility and modern comfort, delivering exhilarating performance with a top speed of 50 knots and a cruising range of up to 250nm. It has been nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2027 and confirmed as a finalist in the Best RIBs category for the Best of Boats Award 2026.

The twin Honda outboard option is matched to deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency, reliability, and smooth, quiet power, with a sleek design which complements the boat’s sharp lines and signature RIB-style architecture.

Honda Marine and Highfield Boats have a longstanding collaboration to deliver boat-engine packages which meet rising demand from boat owners for turnkey solutions with fully-matched, optimised and integrated outboard configurations.

Visitors to the stands at Southampton can also view a variety of Highfield RIBs and tenders, including the ADV7 (winner of the Open Motorboat Award at the Dutch Boat of the Year Awards 2026), the Sport 700 and Highfield’s affordable family starter boat solution, the Patrol 540 Coaster.

In honour of its 15th anniversary year, Highfield is offering a free SUP with every Coaster sale this boat show season.

A full display of Honda Marine’s comprehensive engine range spanning 2.3 to 350 hp will also be on the stand, including models from the updated V6 and 4-cylinder range of engines, as well as the award-winning flagship BF350 V8.

Innovative technology incorporated in the Honda Marine outboard packages include new digital instruments and displays, ergonomic control boxes, Honda Intelligent Shift and Throttle® (iST®) drive-by-wire controls, and integration into onboard networks.

Honda outboards offer further unique benefits including: ECOmo to increase fuel efficiency and lower operating costs; Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™) for improved holeshot performance; Variable Valve Timing & Electronic Control (VTEC®) for smooth power delivery; and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) for quick starts, instant throttle response, powerful performance, and low fuel consumption.

Open on all four sides, the joint stand is designed to create an accessible and spacious environment, allowing visitors and customers to move freely around the display and explore the boats and engines from every angle. At the heart of the stand, three stretched fabric sails will provide a sheltered central area.

Half of the stand will feature the Highfield-Honda package range. The remaining space will feature boats from Honda Marine boatbuilder partners that specify Honda as their preferred engine supplier, alongside Honwave inflatables fitted with Honda outboards.

New for this year, the stand will also feature a dedicated Tender Zone, showcasing both Honda’s Honwave and Highfield tender ranges, highlighting compact, practical solutions for boat owners.
