The opening weekend has set the stage for an unforgettable event filled with exciting activities, breathtaking showcases, and exclusive experiences.
From the dazzling 40 eight-foot “Light the South” lighthouses greeting guests at the entrance to the vibrant energy on the water, the show is already being hailed as one of the best yet!
A key highlight of the weekend was a visit from HRH The Princess Royal, adding a touch of royal elegance to the proceedings. Fans of Below Deck Sailing Yachtwere also in for a treat as Captain Glenn Shephard and Chief Stewardess Daisy Kelliher made special appearances.
Captain Glenn helped officially launch the event, cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony, before captivating the audience with a fascinating talk on the Foredeck Stage. He shared his experiences at sea and provided a behind-the-scenes look at the popular TV show. Superfans were also delighted with a chance to meet him personally at an exclusive gathering in TheYachtMarket.com Sparkling Wine Bar.
On Saturday, Daisy Kelliher hosted a special cocktail masterclass, demonstrating her mixology skills while regaling fans with entertaining stories from Below Deck.
But her excitement didn’t stop there—Daisy also soared into the sky for a thrilling flyboarding adventure with daredevil James Prestwood.
“It was my first time on a flyboard, and it was incredible!” Daisy remarked. “James made me feel so safe, and the warm water made the experience even more enjoyable. I love adrenaline, and this was super fun!”
Meanwhile, Rufus the Hawk, the show’s “Head of Seagull Security,” ensured visitors could enjoy their snacks in peace, keeping the skies free of pesky feathered intruders.
