The organisers of the South West’s major boat show have announced that Plymouth Boat Fest will return on Saturday 12 June 2027, following two successful years of growth since the event’s launch in 2025.
Plymouth Boat Fest has established itself as a celebration of the very best of the South West’s diverse maritime sector, bringing together businesses, organisations, boat owners and enthusiasts for a vibrant festival of all things boating. Those values remain unchanged for 2027, with the event continuing to champion innovation, skills, leisure, conservation and community engagement across the region’s marine industries.
Hosted and organised by Plymouth Yacht Haven, Plymouth Boat Fest has grown into one of the region’s premier maritime events, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the South West and beyond. The show features a wide range of vessels on display alongside marine technology, equipment, services, training providers, conservation organisations and industry leaders.
Announcing the 2027 event, organisers spoke of their commitment to building on the success of previous years while remaining true to the show’s founding purpose.
Steve Cox, Plymouth Yacht Haven said: “Plymouth Boat Fest was created to showcase the breadth and strength of the South West’s maritime sector while providing an enjoyable and accessible event for the local community. Since launching in 2025, the show has grown year-on-year, but our vision remains exactly the same: to celebrate boating in all its forms and highlight the people, businesses and organisations that make this region such an important centre for maritime activity. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors, exhibitors and vessels back to Plymouth in June 2027.”
The event will once again feature a packed programme of on-water displays and demonstrations, giving visitors the opportunity to experience a wide variety of vessels and marine technologies in action. The dedicated Marine Technology Zone will continue to highlight Plymouth’s reputation as a leading hub for marine autonomy and innovation, with exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge developments from across the sector.
Marina display areas will allow for a broad range of vessels to be showcased, while shoreside exhibits will provide opportunities for visitors to meet industry experts, learn about careers and training pathways, explore the latest marine products and services, and discover organisations working to protect and promote the marine environment.
Bookings are open for exhibitors to secure their spot for the show by visiting www.plymouthboatfest.co.uk.
