In partnership with Emirates GBR, Maison Telmont unveils a limited edition bottle of its iconic “Réserve Brut” cuvée

Maison Telmont is releasing a limited-edition champagne bottle of its historic cuvée, “Réserve Brut”, created in partnership with the Emirates GBR SailGP Team.

A tribute to the team’s iconic F50 race boat, it will be available exclusively at 100 Waitrose stores across the UK from July 2026. Timed to coincide with the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Portsmouth on 25-26 July, the release marks the first product launch as part of Telmont’s Official Supplier partnership with the Emirates GBR SailGP Team, which spans the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

Present across five continents, SailGP has established itself as one of the world’s most advanced and spectacular sailing championships. National teams compete aboard identical F50 catamarans capable of speeds exceeding 100km/h, while sustainability remains a core pillar of the league’s long-term development. The partnership officially launched at the opening event of the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship in Perth, Australia, where Emirates GBR secured victory. The team made history in 2025 as the first in SailGP to win the championship, top the season standings and claim the Impact League title, awarded for outstanding performance in sustainability, in the same year. Led by Sir Ben Ainslie and helmed by Olympic gold medallist Dylan Fletcher MBE, the team brings together some of the UK’s top sailing talents, including double Olympic gold medalist Hannah Mills OBE as on-board strategist.

A historic cuvée of the House, “Réserve Brut” embodies the Telmont style, both airy and generous. Crafted from wines from the 2021 harvest and carefully selected reserve wines spanning seven vintages, from 2013 to 2020, it brings together the three emblematic Champagne grape varieties (46% Chardonnay, 30% Meunier and 24% Pinot Noir). It reveals remarkable freshness, refined tension and delicate, persistent bubbles. The grapes are sourced from a mosaic of Champagne terroirs, each contributing to the wine’s complexity and balance. Among the most significant are Damery, where alternating marl and chalk soils bring generosity, roundness and vibrant fruit expression; Fontette, whose marl-limestone soils contribute ripeness alongside natural freshness and tension; Avize, a renowned Chardonnay terroir dominated by pure chalk, which imparts remarkable minerality, precision and length; and Songy, whose chalk-rich soils reinforce the cuvée’s vibrant, mineral backbone.

Available exclusively at Waitrose in stores in the UK, this special edition of “Réserve Brut” is presented in a limited-edition bottle featuring the colours of the Emirates GBR SailGP Team at an RRP of £52.

“In SailGP, performance comes from precision, innovation and teamwork. What impressed us about Telmont is that they pursue excellence with exactly the same mindset, while remaining deeply committed to protecting the environment we race on every day,” said Sir Ben Ainslie, CEO of the Emirates GBR SailGP Team.

“The sea and the vineyard teach us the same lesson: we must observe, understand and work with the elements, never against them. Emirates GBR shares this vision of a performance-driven future. We are immensely proud to unveil this limited edition together, a celebration of the idea that the greatest victories, whether on the water or in the vineyards, are the ones that leave a positive legacy for the generations to come, In the Name of Mother Nature,” said Justin Meade, General Manager of Maison Telmont.
