BTG has supported Hamble Yacht Services in its sale to Premier Marinas as it becomes part of a growing group of marinas across the South Coast.
The deal for the Hampshire-based marina on the River Hamble completed on 23 June 2026, with the support of Gunjal Patel, M&A Partner at BTG, for an undisclosed amount. This latest strategic acquisition for Premier Marinas sees its portfolio increase further. Its other locations on the South Coast range from Falmouth to Eastbourne with several located in and around the Solent area, delivering marina berthing and dry stack berthing services through its membership packages.
Premier Marinas was first established in 1994 and has grown significantly in recent years both organically and inorganically. This latest acquisition on the Hamble River further enhances its presence within an expanding portfolio.
Located on the Hamble River, HYS was established almost 40 years ago and has been under its current ownership since 2015. During this time it has made significant investment to enhance its services including berthing, storage ashore, drysail, drystack, boat lifting and launch off. Alongside the complementary services of its tenants, HYS serves clients with a diverse range of needs from boat enthusiasts to round the world race yacht owners.
