Opinel has launched the No.09 Ocean – a purpose-built outdoor knife developed specifically for use in marine environments.
Designed to perform in demanding coastal and onboard conditions, it combines corrosion-resistant materials with practical, sailing-specific features, with a focus on reliability, safety and ease of use. The No.09 Ocean is designed specifically for nautical environments. It includes a 9cm partially serrated stainless steel blade for cutting rope, along with a shackle key and marlinespike to support onboard tasks.
An anti-corrosion PVD coating protects the blade in saltwater conditions, while the Virobloc® safety system ensures secure handling. The glass fibre-reinforced handle provides grip in wet conditions. The knife weighs 80g and is available in Blue, Red and Yellow.
