Simrad Marine Electronics has released its 2.3 software update, introducing the first and only/exclusive Lenco™ Pro Control™ integration to select Simrad® multifunction displays powered by the NEON™ operating system (OS), including the NSX®, NSX ULTRAWIDE and NSS® 4.
This update marks a significant step forward in delivering simplicity and intuitive control at the helm, a guarantee of the NEON™ platform. With this latest OS, boaters experience a streamlined interface designed for effortless operation, making advanced features like Lenco Pro Control™ Auto and Assist more accessible than ever.
Lenco Pro Control™ Auto sets a new standard for automatic leveling, giving boaters precision, confidence and comfort by continuously adjusting trim tabs to counteract dynamic conditions such as weight shifts and changing seas. The result – passengers stay level and secure, while the captain enjoys hands-free stability management. Backed by an industry-best 74% improvement in auto-leveling performance* and 25% better results than the leading interceptor brand**, Pro Control Auto ensures a smoother, more responsive ride at all speeds.
Key benefits include:
- Near-instant adjustments thanks to a refined algorithm for superior control and responsiveness.
- Improved hole-shot performance, getting boats on plane faster for better visibility and comfort.
- Industry-leading 24% reduction in re-entry impact* for a cushioned, more enjoyable ride.
For those who prefer manual control, Pro Control Assist offers a best-in-class user interface, also fully integrated into select Simrad® displays. This means boaters can manage their trim tabs directly from the screen, enabling flexible helm configurations – whether installing the keypad anywhere or hiding it completely for a clean, modern dash.
This exclusive integration is available now. To download the software update for your display, users can register their device on the Simrad® companion app and the update will be available to download to the phone from anywhere and then transferred to the unit. Additionally, updates can be downloaded by connecting the unit directly to Wi-Fi or on the Simrad Marine Electronics website via an SD card.
