Win a pair of tickets to the Southampton International Boat Show

All at Sea has a pair of day tickets to the Southampton International Boat Show to give away worth £66.

The Southampton International Boat Show returns from 18 – 27 September for 10 days of boating, watersports and entertainment on the waterfront.

Expect a packed programme from start to finish, with on-the-water activities, live demonstrations and expert talks covering everything from professional sailing and powerboat racing to traditional wooden boat building and maritime heritage.

The action is not confined to the marina. Visitors can take to the purpose-built watersports lake for paddleboarding and kayaking sessions with Rockley, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

The popular Andark Dive Tank also returns, offering supervised diving experiences using state-of-the-art equipment and on-site changing facilities, while the much-loved Try-a-Boat gives visitors the chance to get out on the water with FlexiSail, Clipper, WetWheels and Team Endeavour Racing – all included within the ticket price.

The show’s speaker line-up brings together inspiring stories, practical advice and expert insight from across the sailing world. Sir Robin Knox-Johnston will share tales from a lifetime of adventure and racing around the world, while Clipper Race experts will reveal how complete beginners can become ocean racers and what it takes to build a professional career in offshore sailing.

For those looking to take their first steps into boat ownership, the Westerly Owners Association will offer practical advice on sailing on a budget, proving that getting afloat can be more accessible than many people think.

The expanded Wooden Boat Stage also returns following a hugely successful debut in 2025, celebrating the skills, stories and people keeping traditional boatbuilding alive. Delivered in partnership with the Boat Building Academy, the Wooden Boatbuilders’ Trade Association and Women in Boat Building, the programme combines practical demonstrations, expert talks and inspiring stories from across the marine community.

Highlights include appearances from round-the-world sailor Conrad Humphreys, Hannah Stowe and renowned boatbuilder Will Stirling. Mary Montagu-Scott, Director of Buckler’s Hard Maritime Museum, will also explore the legacy of HMS Agamemnon and the shipbuilding traditions that shaped the Beaulieu River.

New for 2026, the Wooden Boat Stage Afloat extends the experience onto the marina itself, showcasing remarkable vessels including Hannah Stowe’s 1907 gaff cutter Larry, the historic Guide of Dunkirk, the beautifully restored Camper & Nicholsons tender Gelyce and the iconic offshore racer Apache 555.

The purpose-built marina, Europe’s largest, will be lined with more than 250 boats of every shape and size, from sleek yachts and high-powered motorboats to classic and modern sailing boats. Leading marine brands will also showcase the latest technology, equipment and apparel, giving visitors the opportunity to explore every corner of the marine world in one place.

Beyond the boats, the show offers a true festival atmosphere. Live music throughout the 10 days, including late-night entertainment on both Fridays and Saturdays, great food and drink, family entertainment and interactive experiences create an event that appeals to seasoned sailors, watersports enthusiasts and first-time visitors alike.

Whether you are looking to try a new activity, hear incredible stories from life at sea, discover the latest innovations in boating or simply enjoy a fantastic day by the water, the Southampton International Boat Show promises ten unforgettable days celebrating everything that makes life on and around the water so special.
