A company called e-pax has launched what it calls ‘the first commercially available medical pack for boaters’. Called ‘e-pax sail’, it contains prescription medication and a choice of three strong anti-sickness treatments, enabling you to tailor the kit to your needs. The pack also includes various treatments for the most common sailing injuries, including abrasions, rashes and burns. And you also get treatments for diarrhoea, allergic reactions, fevers, infections (including eye and ear), and general pain and inflammation. The sea sickness tablets are available at extra cost, as (rather oddly) is the morning after pill.

Price: from £59.99
